Overview

A Signature Safiri Safari Experience

The Serengeti National Park is the heart of Tanzania’s safari legacy. Vast, untamed, and effortlessly magnificent. Its sweeping plains host one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, offering exceptional encounters with lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and vast herds of plains game. Through Safiri, guests have the opportunity to time their journey with the legendary Great Migration, a natural spectacle where millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing, accompanied by dramatic predator activity and iconic river crossings depending on the season.

Why Private? Love a particular lion pride? We can stay for an hour. Want to head back early for a sun downer? It’s your call.

A minimum stay of two nights in the Serengeti is strongly recommended to fully absorb the scale and rhythm of the park. This allows for unhurried game drives at different times of day, access to varied wildlife areas, and the chance to witness the Serengeti at its most magical early mornings, bathed in soft light and evenings as the plains glow at sunset. A longer stay ensures a deeper, more exclusive safari experience, away from the rush and defined by quality wildlife moments.

The journey continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural landscapes. Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater reveals a self-contained world of remarkable beauty and biodiversity. Within its fertile crater floor, guests encounter large populations of wildlife including lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. The dramatic crater walls, combined with consistently rewarding game viewing, create an experience that is both intimate and awe-inspiring.

Safiri carefully curates each Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari to balance comfort, exclusivity, and authentic wildlife encounters. From thoughtfully selected lodges to expertly guided game drives, every detail is designed to deliver a refined safari journey that reflects Tanzania at its most extraordinary.
