Pick-up Locations. Arusha, Moshi, Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), Arusha Airport (ARK), or the Namanga Border. (For arrivals before 10:00 AM, the safari starts immediately upon pickup). Activities.Your luxury expedition begins with a warm welcome from your dedicated professional driver-guide and a brief orientation before setting off in your private 4x4 Land Cruiser. You will journey toward Tarangire National Park, entering the park and commencing an exciting afternoon game drive as you head southward. Unlike standard day-trippers who stay near the main gate, your drive takes you deep into the secluded southern sector of the park—an area famous for its immense baobab trees and sprawling savannahs. As the afternoon sun softens, arrive at Tarangire Elephant Springs, where you will settle into your luxury tented suite before enjoying a gourmet multi-course dinner under the stars. Wake up to the gentle sounds of the African bush and embark on an early morning game drive through the pristine southern wilderness of Tarangire. This remote section of the park is renowned for its exceptional peace and tranquility, far removed from the crowded safari circuits. Here, undisturbed wildlife encounters thrive around the area's natural water springs, attracting vast herds of elephants, big cats, and diverse birdlife.
By mid day, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch and an afternoon break. Unwind by the rim flow infinity pool, sipping a refreshing beverage while taking in panoramic views of the waterhole right in front of the property. Later in the afternoon, head out for another thrilling game drive as the predators become active, returning to camp in time for a warm fire, fine dining, and a restful night.
Overnight: Tarangire Elephant Springs (Full Board)
Enjoy a final morning game drive through Tarangire as you gently navigate your way toward the park exit. From there, journey through the lush, rolling highlands of Ngorongoro, taking in panoramic views of local Maasai villages and agricultural countryside.
Ascend directly onto the eastern crater rim to arrive at Ngorongoro Lion's Paw Camp. Nestled beneath an ancient canopy of red-thorn acacias, this lodge occupies one of the most exclusive and unique locations in the entire conservation area. You will arrive just in time to witness a spectacular African sunset dipping over the rim and crater highlands, casting a golden glow over the landscape. Spend a cozy evening around the outdoor fire pit or beside your suite’s personal fireplace before enjoying dinner.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Lion's Paw Camp (Full Board)
Rise early for a hot breakfast before taking advantage of Lion's Paw Camp’s privileged rim location, a swift 10-minute descent down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, allowing you to arrive at dawn well ahead of the crowds coming from outside the park.
Spend the morning exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World." The dense wildlife population inside the caldera gives you an extraordinary opportunity to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino) all in one morning. Enjoy a freshly prepared bush picnic lunch beside the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls in the early afternoon.
Conclude your safari with a comfortable drive back for drop-off in Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your evening flight or onward travel arrangements.
This tour is best booked all season long. Clients may be advised to miss out during the rain season. However, we have had some spectacular experiences at Tarangire and Ngorongoro during the rain season.
This Safari Package is All-Inclusive. The fees listed will include all aspects of the tour as mentioned in the highlights & itinerarry.
The safari package does not include accommodations before or after the safari. Booking client can request a quote or itinerary with the accommodations before and after the safari.
