Exploring Local cultures has always been fascinating anywhere in the world. With the modern world, its unique to find a group people that still practice beliefs & values that are special to themselves. The Masai people in Tanzania who play an economic value in Wildlife Conservation, have always been breathtaking to meet. A Nomadic culture with distinctive custom and dress. With an age set system of social organization, circumcision, and vocabulary terms.
A safari to Hadzabe people as well, a modern hunter-gatherer tribe living in northern Tanzania. They are considered one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa with approximately 1,300 tribe members. The Hadzabe people survive by hunting their food with hand-made bows and arrows and foraging for edible plants. A day experience that aims at understanding a unique tribe, enough time, reducing the tourism negative effects on this culture.
The Datoga people, classified as Southern Nilotes whose origins 3,000 years ago are rooted in Southern Sudan or in the western Ethiopia highlands. Proud people and have a reputation as being fierce warriors, who have a wild reputation of killing dangerous wild animals. They resist formal education and only about 5% of the Datoga speak Swahili, the national language of Tanzania. The Datoga bypassed modern political developments. They live within a small circle of contacts with neighboring peoples with whom they mostly have a conflict relationship. These factors contribute to their isolation within Tanzania.
Travel through cultural times, to some of Africa’s fascinating traditions. We like to see this tribes remain core & to their values, through this Safiriltd supports cultural tourism. In a more sustainable way to which both the host & visitor meet explore their differences.
