We offer a wide variety of Safari destinations, Backpacking, Cultural experiences, Hiking trips, Exotic bike trips, Budget accommodations and many more.

“Safiri” is a Kiswahili word meaning “to travel”.  Our goal is to offer easy, hassle-free Safari solutions to our clients who look to explore Africa.

Board of Directors

Safiri Limited has four Directors. The Board of directors of Safiri Limited is the core of our corporate governance and is ultimately accountable and responsible for the performance and affairs of the Safiri Limited. These are leaders with diverse and complementary backgrounds, and with a wealth of Safari experience. The team meets regularly and focuses on the key strategic, financial, operational, and policy issues affecting the company. We are committed to empowering clients with quality services and delivering value to our customers.

Executive Officials
Ruth Mwangi-Mdodo

Co-founder and Director of Safiri LTD. Ruth brings with her years of experience and expertise in information security, privacy, and compliance. She has worked in the security and compliance field for more than 15 years and is instrumental in developing security, privacy, and compliance standards for Safiri. Ruth holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Kennesaw State University and multiple Information Security certifications including the highly respected HITRUST Practitioner certification. Ruth is excited to be a co-founder of Safiri and will work to ensure that confidential client information remains confidential. Today, Ruth is the Compliance Officer at a U.S based health care organization and directing regulatory procedures and security requirements. 

In her spare time, Ruth loves to travel and enjoys the amazing beauty that mother nature offers, from the dry savannah to the beach!

Reginald Victor Runyoro

Reginald has over 5 years of experience working in community engagement, financial management, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable tourism. Currently, he works at Tanzania GET Safaris as the Co, founder & Chief Operations Officer based in Arusha, Tanzania as well as he is the Co, founder & Director at Safiri LTD based in Nairobi, Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, History, and Sociology from Rhodes University, South Africa. Born and raised in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Reginald has invested most of his time and energy exploring the length of East Africa on two wheels, by foot and on four wheels, especially in-depth of the famous Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Reginald hopes to use Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Safiri LTD to revolutionize and democratize services in the tourism sector and respond to new customer demands while strengthening the economic empowerment of the local communities living adjacent and within Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs).

Innocent Samson Mkumbo

Born and raised in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the 7th Wonder of the World, Innocent has the passion and commitment to promoting innovation and digital entrepreneurship within the tourism sector through the creation of affordable travel accommodation, smart travel destinations, and cultural preservation. Currently, Innocent works at Mazzola Safari House and Backpacking as the Co, founder & Managing Director. Co, founder & Chief Product Officer at Tanzania GET Safaris as well as he is the Co, founder & Director at Safiri LTD which is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Innocent holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration and Business Management from the United States of America International University (USIU) based in Nairobi Kenya. Innocent is looking forward to creating the best affordable smart travel programs and design unforgettable cultural programs to promote and strengthen sustainable tourism practices related to wildlife and cultural tourism in Safiri LTD.
