Driving to Tarangire comes with so much ease, 140 km of comfortable Arusha to Tarangire highway. A journey that takes almost two (2) hours, before arriving at the Tarangire National Park main gate. While you relax at Lake Manyara and look to Ngorongoro Crater on Day two (2). A trip to Ngorongoro Crater, climbing over 1,800 ft above sea level to one of the worlds largest crater landscape. Ngorongoro crater UNESCO world heritage site, know for its conservation efforts on the environment and the support it has on the communities living in the area. Into a crater filled with wildlife, surrounded by a 300 m rim. Some visitors have been able to spot Africa’s big 5 within a short game drive time in the crater. This package also gives the opportunity for visitors to explore the famous Masai culture.
Early pick up from your accommodation and a stop at a supermarket before driving out of Arusha, heading towards Tarangire National Park. Arriving between 9 am to 11 am. Explore this amazing landscape mostly covered by big Baobab trees and a large concentration of elephants. Packed lunch at a picnic site between 12 am to 2 pm. Thereafter enjoy a game drive before driving to your accommodation in Lake Manyara Area. Arrival time at the Campsite is between 4 pm to 6 pm. Overnight at Lake Manyara Campsites.
Morning breakfast before driving to Ngorongoro crater main gate. Arriving at the gate between 8 am and 10 am. Descending 600m into this magnificent crater for a half-day game drive (4 to 6 hours of game drive). Lunch in the crater picnic area or at the campsite depending on safari group preference. Before driving to Arusha town, Drop off at your preferred location.
Your tour will conclude on the evening of the 2th-day of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
The reporting time is 8.00 a.m. on the tour day. This is to allow preparations and to have ample time to enjoy all the planned daily activities.
